Mobile vs Static vs Containerised Gold Processing Plants

Compare mobile, static and containerised gold plants on throughput, power, water and transport, with real figures from the TUNOTEX range.

Three ways to build a gold plant

Hard-rock gold plants follow the same basic flow: crush, mill, then recover gold by gravity and sometimes leaching. What changes is how the plant is packaged. The right choice depends on how long you will stay on one site, your target throughput and your climate.

Mobile gold plants

Mobile plants are built on trailers. The MGP-1 fits crushing, milling and a centrifugal concentrator on a single trailer at 1 – 2 t/h, and the MGP-3 reaches 10 – 12 t/h across a crushing trailer and a milling trailer. They suit operators who are still proving a deposit or who work several claims.

Static plants

Static plants are installed on a prepared site. The RSPU-1 and RSPU-2 add a CIP leach plant, shaking table, gold room equipment, site office and fencing, reaching 20 – 30 t/h on the RSPU-2. They suit operations with proven reserves that want to recover fine gold as well as free gold.

Containerised plants

The CGP-1 runs inside closed containers with opening doors, designed for hot climates. It processes 4 – 6 t/h and moves on a single superlink.

Which one should you choose?

If you are still proving your deposit, a mobile plant lets you start processing quickly and move if grades disappoint. If your reserves are proven and you want to capture fine gold, a static plant with CIP gives better overall recovery. If heat and dust are a concern, a containerised plant protects both equipment and operators. Whatever you choose, every plant needs water and power, which our site supply service can provide.
